Louise Reynolds

I came from Winchester to study teaching at Manchester in 1970. I Studied art and design, with my main interest being textiles. I have used my interest in all aspects of art to the full in my career. 

Since retiring I am now able to explore once more many aspects of art. My work is, in the main, for my own pleasure. I have close associations with The Artworks in Halifax and became a member of the HAS to further enjoy working with others and particularly enjoy the lively, varied demonstrations. I paint in acrylic or oils primarily. 

I have discovered the wonders of ceramics over recent years and find hand building with clay therapeutic and satisfying. I draw inspiration from life drawing, moody skies, organic and natural subjects in the sea or land and intend to continue to explore these areas further in the future.
