Overgate Hospice is very special to the Halifax Art Society and we have the honour of providing paintings of local scenes for their calendar each year. The Friday meeting on the 5th May was devoted to creating new pictures to hang for one year at the Overgate Hospice. We had a good response and we are sure that the hospice will be pleased with our selection, the theme being “Favourite Things”.
Our next workshop will be on the 19th, when member Dennis Kilbey will introduce us to the art of “Painting on Silk”.
