The Halifax Art Society met last Friday for their first session in 2019 at All Saints Parish Hall in Godfrey Road, Skircoat Green at their usual time of 10:30 am.
Janet Gledhill started the session by reading out a poem of her choice ‘Stopping by Woods on a snowy Evening’ by Robert Frost. Members took that as an inspiration for their work.
At break we celebrated the beginning of 2019 by having cake instead of the usual biscuits.
On the 25th January David Starley will give a demonstration of ‘Trees in Oil’.
