8th May 2026 – Stuart gave an interesting talk on the background of Mezzotint printing, a technique invented by Ludwig von Siegen in 1642. Stuart brought in a lot of his prints and explained the process and tools he used to create his amazing artwork. It was fascinating to watch how he prepared the copper plate, created an image through to the final print. It was a really enjoyable morning.
