Last Friday morning members of the Halifax Art Society came together to create pictures with blue and white items of our choice in any medium. Plenty of props were provided. Some people remembered last week’s demo when we were encouraged to develop real items into imagined ones.
On the 11th October Catherine Davis will lead a workshop ‘Kusudama flowers’ and all materials will be provided.
Last Friday about 30 members of the Halifax Art Society came together for a ‘Edward Foster Workshop’ at Skircoat Green.
For the second time Edward led us skilfully to some imaginative drawing. He is known in many parts of the world for his unusual way of developing imaginative drawings from real objects.
On the 27th September there will be a demonstration by Tracey Krupianka at our usual venue in Halifax. And don’t forget there are a few more days left to visit our exhibition at Halifax Minster
Last Friday the Halifax Art Society enjoyed a working session titled ‘Bees, Butterflies & Bugs’ led by our member Lynda Thomas. You could work in the media of your choice or even get printing with Lynda’s professional advice.
For our session on the 20th September you can bring the medium of your choice for the challenge of ‘Blue & White’.

A special preview evening will be held on 13th September, 7-9pm.
Last Friday the Halifax Art Society enjoyed a workshop at All Saints Parish Church Hall at Skircoat Green in Halifax. Members could use materials provided as part of the workshop.
On the 13th September ‘Visionary Drawing with Edward Fos’ will surely attract a lot of members from 10:30am to 1pm.
