9th May 2025 – today was our AGM. This was followed by a very fascinating and entertaining talk by our President, Paul Talbot-Greaves on his life and work.

Vintage Travel Posters
2nd May 2025 – This workshop was led by Lynda. Members were asked to bring in a photo/s of a favourite destination and create a poster. Lynda brought in lots of pictures and books as well as a poster and jigsaw that was raffled.
SHAKESPEARE’S Birthday
25th April 2025 – This workshop, led by Lynda, was about drawing a character or scene from one of Shakespeare’s plays. Lynda brought in lots of pictures and books to help inspire us. We had a good morning creating Shakespearian artwork. The first picture below is of a poster advertising Macbeth and was painted by one of our members when she was just 16! amazing.

18th April 2025 – This workshop was all about Dragons and was organised and led by Philip. We had an enjoyable morning creating our own mythical beasts.
Edward FOSTER – Imaginative Illustration Workshop
11th April 2025 – Today’s workshop was led by Edward Foster, a professional artist, musician and author. He brought in many examples of his artwork and explained his approach to creating an imaginative illustration. He took us through different exercises to open up our imagination and we completed various observational drawings. It was an enjoyable morning.
