8th November 2024 – Lynda brought in a lot of black and white photographs, taken by David Williams at the Calderdale Industrial Museum, that depicted some of the many beautiful buildings around Halifax town centre. Members enjoyed the challenge of recreating the very intricate and interesting details of the buildings.

27th September 2024 – We had a welcome return from Winston Plowes who talked through some short films of him and others working outside creating land art. He also showed stills of other works. Due to its nature, this unique artwork only has a short life. Winston supplied a lot of materials and members also brought their own that helped everyone to have an enjoyable and creative morning.

20th September 2024 – Members brought photographs of their favourite holiday memory and created an artwork in their choice of medium. It was a quiet morning that produced some picturesque landscapes and captured a few funny moments.

9th August 2024 – this workshop, led by Janet, is a continuation of the theme of ‘Abstraction’ during August. Janet brought many photos, artwork, tools and explained her process. Members had an enjoyable morning creating an abstracted landscape using watercolour paint.
