Lynda had even found a recent winner in a painting competition who said that painting on packaging material often creates surprising results. Lynda had brought many diverse images to pick from and during the workshop the silence proved that people really enjoyed working on cardboard, brown paper etc.

Hands on
At the end of March we took time to look at our own hands and the shapes they make in a workshop of ‘Busy hands’ led by Lynda Thomas. We looked at a variety of reference material, books and wooden mannequin models as well as our own digits.
Lynda encouraged us to use different media and look at our hands in a different way.
