2nd August 2024 – Lynda led this Urban Design workshop. This is one of the ‘Dedication to Abstraction’ themed workshop scheduled in August. Members had an interesting morning creating their own urban abstract painting.

Annie Harrison – Ebb and Flow talk and workshop
6th September 2024 – In this workshop, Annie gave a super talk about her ebb and flow project. Members had a go at creating their own little watercolour paintings.
Workshop – Expressive Painting Techniques
23rd August 2024 – As part of our Abstract themed August, Dean Clough artist Claire Murray came to show us some techniques for abstracting landscapes. So many methods, equipment and ideas that she brought had made this an amazing workshop, members were all so inspired.
Colourful Abstract in Pastel
16th August 2024 – Continuing with our theme of Abstraction throughout August, today’s workshop was organised and presented by Lynne Hickin. Lynne brought in lots of information and examples on using bright colours of soft pastels. It was a very enjoyable and productive morning.
Simple Watercolour Abstract Landscape
9th August 2024 – this workshop, led by Janet, is a continuation of the theme of ‘Abstraction’ during August. Janet brought many photos, artwork, tools and explained her process. Members had an enjoyable morning creating an abstracted landscape using watercolour paint.
