All Sparkle and Glitter
15th December 2023 – This is our last meeting of the year and we were all busy decorating a mask for New Year celebrations. All materials were provided and members created some great masks. Thank you to Kate Heatley for providing festive nibbles at break time.
Christmas Lunch
8th December 2023 – We had our Christmas lunch at the Maypole Inn, Warley. Thank you to Kate Heatley for organising this event which everyone enjoyed.
Winter Scene for Overgate
1st December 2023 – Members were invited to create an image to be a Christmas card for Overgate for 2024.
Mark Burgum & Fran Lily – Recreating Georgia O’Keefe
24th November 2023- Fran Lily gave a short talk on the life of the American artist Georgia O’Keefe and her particular style of painting. Members were given some examples of Georgia’s work to help inspire their own creations.
