Dominic VINCE – Talk on David BOMBERG, his life and work
6th June 2025 – Art Historian, Dominic, gave another interesting and insightful talk about David Bomberg – now recognised as one of the 20th century’s leading British artist despite being largely overlooked during his lifetime. His career spanned several distinct phases from early geometric compositions with bold colours to his later, more figurative and expressionistic landscapes. He lived in London and travelled widely in the Middle East and Europe.
Paul TALBOT-GREAVES – PORTRAITS in acrylic demonstration
30th May 2025 – Our President, Paul Talbot-Greaves gave an excellent demonstration of painting portraits in acrylic which members really enjoyed.

23rd May 2025 – In this workshop members produced some wonderful work inspired by last week’s demonstration by Stephen Coates.
Stephen COATES – Misty Woodland Scene in Watercolour Demonstration
16th May 2025 – We welcomed back artist Stephen Coates who gave an excellent demonstration in watercolour. He provided lots of hints, techniques and ideas that made for an entertaining and informative morning.
