As a follow up to Bruce Mulcahy’s demonstration the previous week, we had a go at creating a landscape using gouache paint. Some members really enjoyed using the medium, although it wasn’t as easy as Bruce had made it look.
Our new syllabus is now available to download, or see our Syllabus page.
Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances, Fran and Mark Burgum had to cancel their workshop. Carol stepped in and led a workshop giving a lot of Hints and Tips to improve our pencil drawing and sketching. She brought in many different examples and ideas to work from to practice the techniques.

The workshop on 19th May was organised and led by Louise. She explained the technique of bleach painting and brought in some excellent examples of her work. We wore aprons and protective gloves. Everyone found the process fascinating and some of the results are amazing.
