19th September 2025 – Members were invited to bring items to a nature table which looked incredible. Using a medium of choice, members created an artwork from one of the items.

Complete your portrait painting
12th September 2025 – Today was an opportunity to continue with the Rainbow Portraits from last weeks demonstration or free choice.
Painting with Tea and Coffee – with a twist
22nd August 2025 – this workshop was led by Carol who brought in several bottles of unusual different products to paint with – tea, fruit tea, coffee, beetroot and red cabbage. She explained how she prepared the products and uses them to create different effects. From the many photographs/pictures Carol brought in, members were inspired to create an artwork with ‘a twist’.
Completing paintings for the Allotment Calendar
15th August 2025 – today is the last day for members to complete their paintings of fruit and flowers to be considered for the 2026 Allotment Calendar. Most of us spent this morning making the final touches to our artwork.
International Day of the Cat
8th August 2025 – Lynda gave a short presentation of different artists and their paintings of cats. Lynda and Lynne brought in many photos/books of images of cats which helped to inspire members to create their own artwork.
