1st November 2024 – Lynda led this workshop which included a variety of topics. Members had a choice of continuing to make Christmas decorations for the Minster Christmas Tree, decorating one of the skull templates provided to celebrate the Mexican tradition of the Day of the Dead, and/or making marigolds using tissue paper. Some members worked on a picture started in a previous workshop or on one of their own projects.

27th September 2024 – We had a welcome return from Winston Plowes who talked through some short films of him and others working outside creating land art. He also showed stills of other works. Due to its nature, this unique artwork only has a short life. Winston supplied a lot of materials and members also brought their own that helped everyone to have an enjoyable and creative morning.

5th July 2024 – Members continued to paint more flowers, vegetables and sheds for next year’s allotment calendar. There should be a good selection of paintings representing different seasons of the year to choose from.

31st May 2024 – Lynda led this very enjoyable and relaxing workshop. Lynda provided silk paints, cards, images etc which inspired us to make a picture that could be made into a card or laminated as a bookmark.
