25th August 2023 – Thank you again to Ilona for organising today’s visit to the allotments where a few of us enjoyed sketching outdoors. Some members decide to stay at the Hall to paint/draw flowers, that were kindly provided by Janet and Carol, or to continue with unfinished artwork from last week.

18th August 2023 – A visit was arranged to the secret garden in Manor Heath. Janet took many photos of the beautiful flowers in the park, and one little visitor! As it was a rainy morning, most of the members stayed in the Hall to paint a still life, a picture inspired from a magazine or to continue with their own project.

11th August 2023 – Thank you to Ilona for arranging this day for members to visit Godfrey Road Allotments to do some sketching. Many photos were taken and members had the opportunity to sketch and paint outdoors. Back at the Hall, members had the choice of drawing and painting an assortment of fruit, flowers and vegetables.

4th August 2023 – A visit was organised to sketch at the All Saints churchyard and garden. The weather was rather wet and drizzly, not ideal for outdoor painting. A few of us ventured out to the church to look at the gardens and cemetery, which was extremely interesting. Those who were at the Hall were busy painting flowers or working on previous subjects.
