24th October 2025 – We welcomed back Dominic who gave an interesting lecture on the life, loves and art of the artist Cezanne.
Making Decorations for our Minster Christmas Tree
17th October 2025 – We will once again be taking part in the Halifax Minster Christmas Tree Festival. Lynda brought in lots of boxes and many different items for members to use, as well as using their own materials, creating a wonderful array of Christmas decorations.
Hand Made Paper Artwork
10th October 2025 – Following on from last weeks hand made paper demonstration, Jenny left a lot of paper for members to practice on this week. Lynda and Lynne provided a variety of stamps, there were also gel pens, acrylic, coloured pens etc for members to be creative with.
Jenny Dennison White – Hand Made Paper
3rd October 2025 – Members learnt how to make handmade paper, well demonstrated by Jenny. As paper making isn’t something we could all practice on Fridays, and can be messy, Jenny will run small workshops from her studio. Jenny brought in lots of samples and ideas to share and plenty of her own artwork to show and sell. This paper is not suitable for watercolour but ideal for acrylics, pastels and pencils.
