22nd September 2023 – The workshop was led by Lynda. Members were asked to bring watercolour paper, brushes and masking fluid. Brusho and other materials were provided on the day. Lynda explained what Brusho is and gave a demonstration on the different ways it can be used. For example you can sprinkle it on to wet paper, use a resist, paint on wood or shells. Members had a great time experimenting with this very colourful medium.

15th September 2023 – The workshop, organised and presented by Dr Lynne Hickin, was on the subject of facial expressions. Smiling, anger, puzzled, surprised, worried are all about facial muscles. It was a very interesting morning for our members.

8th September 2023 – Due to a last minute change to the schedule, Carol stepped in to lead an interesting and enjoyable workshop. Carol gave hints and tips for drawing with white chalk, pencil or pastel on to black paper. She brought in examples to demonstrate the different techniques that can be applied.

1st September 2023 – unfortunately Lindsay Norman had to cancel her workshop due to ill health. Instead we had a free choice morning. A selection of photographs were provided for inspiration. Members produced a rich variety of artwork.
